Can Robax Platinum Cause Side Effects?

I am 73 years old Male and have lower back pain spasms which I believe started 2 days ago from cutting tree limbs with a chain saw and heavy lifting. I have been taking doctor prescribed Cypralex for High Anxiety. I have just purchased a box of Robax Platinum and I am now afraid to take any because of unwanted side effects. Should I proceed or just take Tylonol Extra Strength. The pharmacist has ensured me that I should be ok with the Robax. I am unable to sit or luy down for a short period without pain but I can walk ok. Can you help.

Hello,

I understand your concern. Robax is a drug combination that contains a muscle relaxant and a pain killer. When combined with Cipralex, it may cause dizziness and impairment of judgement, so while taking both drugs, avoid alcohol intake and any activity that requires a sharp mind and concentration.
Other than this, there is no major known interaction between the two drugs.
Bed rest and Robax are the right medication for your back pain.
