Can Plan-B Be Taken After First Time Intercourse After Delivery?

I discontinued breast feeding about 2 weeks ago and had unprotected sex with my husband yesterday. I haven't gotten a period since before pregnancy. I have a prescription for Junel Fe that I haven't started using. I have a four month old and am not interested in being pregnant this soon. Should I get plan b or take a few extra Junel Fe as emergency contraceptive?

Hi,
spontaneous ovulation is possible in irregular/withdrawan breast feeding. You had stopped it 15 days back--
AS you have stopped breast feeding, there is no chance of drug passing to baby through breast milk. I feel to avoid the risk of conception you should take plan B within 72 hours of sex.
JUnel Fe is is a two drug cyclical contraceptive, needs to be taken regularly. It is not known have action as as emergency contraceptive. You should take plan B only.
If it's already 72 hours, you should wait & use MTP kit after confirming pregnancy- with a doctor's guidance.
Thanks.
