Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. It would be always better to gain weight by natural means than using products which are advertised. Some of these products are not evaluated and approved by regulating bodies and hence they might impart some side effects. A good well balanced high protein diet should be your first step. The second thing is exercise with a combination of Cardio-exercise and focused muscle building. Gradually, you should gain weight in about 3-4 months. If it doesn't happen, then you need to get blood tests done to check your thyroid and other hormone levels to look for endocrine cause. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
