Can Lupron Be The Cause For Lower Back And Arm Pain?

I am taking Lupron for prostate cancer stage 4 metastasis to lymph nodes. No evidence of bone cancer, but there is suspicion about this. I am having a lot of lower back pain and arm pain. Could this be a result of the Lupron?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Generally such symptoms are not the typical side effects of this medicine. So most likely that is not the factor of this pain.
I suggest you to have bones scan to rule out bone invasion as this can be the main reason of your pain.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
