Can Levothyroxine Be Taken For An Overactive Thyroid?
My sister has an overactive thyroid and was diagnosed 4 years ago and was given levothyroxine. I have an underactive thyroid and also take levothyroxine. She s freaking out because she did some research on it and found out that people with an over active thyroid shound be on Methimazole!!! Could this cause searious problems for her !! Very concerned as she still cannot gain weight and has passed out multiple times and has a goiter on her throat
