Can I Take Tus Q Tablets During My Pregnancy ?

hi,
i'm pregnant and in my 10th week long.since 4 days i;m suffering from severe cold and cough.my doctor has asked me to start antibiotics for cold,which i already did and she also asked me to take tus q lozenges for cough but my husband bought tus q tablets .i just want to know whether i can take tus q tablets .are they safe in pregnancy?

Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question. I can appreciate your concern for your baby.
I would like to tell you that tus q tablets are absolutely safe during pregnany. no any reportable side effects has been notes so far, so you can safely take tus q tablets.
I would also recommend you that if possible avoid antibiotics, take only if required absolutely. So you can test your blood for CBC and if it shows signs of infection, then only take antibiotics. Also do proper care of yourself by having healthy and nutritious diet, drink plenty of water, have salt water gargles frequently, etc.
