Can I Prevent Further Thinning Of The Retina?
I had my OCT done in the month of April and August .Comparing the 2 OCT Retinal thinning has been found and very few pigments have been found in my eye . I have vit D defficiency and do take prescribed medicines for it .Apart from that I have Dry eyes ,autoimmune joint and muscle disorder ( could be Sjogren syndrome )and auto immune thyroid .I had been prescribed HCQS (a type of choloroquine)and had taken it from 2001 to mid 2003 by gradually reducing the dosage over the period .I am on Eltroxin 50 for thyroid .Can I prevent further thinning of the retina ?Can the current thinning be reverted ?I have started taking Vit B (B6 , B12)and omega 3 fatty acids tablets

at this time it is not posible to advise treatment tostop further thinining of retina. only recomandation is lser aplication thined point to prevent iminant detachment. rest of thingyou are asuming may be your feeling. you can present them ina suitable forum.
