I'm a 57 yr old female, 5'4" and weigh 230.I had a stroke (blood clot) in Jan 2011.I had high blood pressure and chlosetral levels which are now under control thru medications. I am taking Plavix , Lisinaprol , and Metoprolol. I want to lose weight but have been unsuccessful. My normal weight was 137 or less until I turned 40. Can I take HCG?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about the difficulties you have with your weight. HCG can help you loose weight but I strongly discourage using drugs for weight loss purposes. My recommendation is that you try diet, regular exercise and life style modifications. If these fail, then your doctor would work with you on what the next available options are.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
