Can Glucosamine Chondroitin Be Taken For Sciatic Pain In Knees?

Yes, I am taking Lipitor and valsartan/hydrochlorothiazide combined. For the last month I have been having Sciatic in my back and down my left leg. I have had lazer treatments, decompression treatments and about two weeks ago a cordizone shot in my hip. I am feeling slightly better and can now walk, but having problems in my knee joint, prolly from a fall last year, when it was bruised badly. I would like to know if I can take the glucosamine chondroitin?

Hi. Yes You can take glucosamine. It has no side effects. But it would be better to go for MRI of the knee to know the exact cause and extent of the disease.
