First I think it is important to focus on your chronic hepatitis C. Going just by ALT levels does not rule out ongoing liver damage. You need to have levels of the virus measured and possibly a liver biopsy. There are now some real good treatments for hepatitis C that have minimal side effects and great cure rates. I would not recommend starting on any kind of supplement for weight loss or anything else until you know the extent of the liver disease, if any. If further evaluation of your liver shows no ongoing damage, then it should be no problem to use garcinia cambogia, although there is not a lot of strong scientific evidence showing its efficacy for weight loss.
