Can Covocaine Ear Drops Be Used For Baby?

Hi

I just like to know if I can use Covocaine drops for a 6 month old baby's ear? He is teething and keeps pulling ons his ears, I did put a piece of cottonwool with vicks in his ear but he still does it. And I would also like to know what I can do to let him sleep better.

Thank you
Regards
Simone

Hi Simone,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.
Please do not self medicate your baby. You should consult your doctor at the earliest for a complete physical examination. Your doctor will examine the ear to identify the cause. Further management depends on the diagnosis made. So consult your doctor for a examination to identify the cause.

Please also inform me how many hours you baby is sleeping per day to answer your query better.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
