Can Clofert-50 Cause Birth Defects?

Hi..I m 29 yrs old . My doc suggested me to have clofert50 but I m scared bcoz I read precautions of this medicine..it says clofert 50 May hav serious birth defects to the fetus.and it says u may have twins or triplets with this medicine...plz suggest.

I understand your concern.
Clofert 50 contains clomiphene as ingredient. It is an ovulation induction medication, which will help to mature follicles and release egg at right time.
Generally, it does not cause any adverse effects on fetus. However, if taken in higher doses than recommended, it could cause multiple pregnancy as it may induce and release more than one egg.
You can always follow the response to the medication by undertaking follicular studies.
