Can Cefadroxil And Droxyl Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Hi dr..My pregnancy confirmed by doctor in urine test.. This is my 7th week pregnancy... Report says I have plenty of pus cells.. Doctor advised me to take antibiotics cefadroxil tablet droxyl 500... But is it safe to take these tablets in early pregnancy...?? Will there be any affect on pregnancy ?? Any other solution to get rid of plenty pus cells without tablets ???

I understand your concern.
* Pregnancy test reports may have error because of the pus cells it has. Please get your pregnancy confirmed by manual assessment be a gynecologist./ ultra sonography/ blood HCG test.
* A confirmed pregnancy in early weeks with plenty of pus cells in urine indicates urine infection.Urinary infection must be tackled earliest & irradicated, for it may otherwise lead to serious pregnancy complications.
Urine culture/sensitivity test is usually done to choose the best antibiotic for the infection. (Cefadroxyl ) droxyl 500 mg is not only safe but also essential in urinary infection in early pregnancy.
