I was hit in the back of the calf in September by a rolling cart that was being pushed. There was a bruise that was about 7 in by 4 in. Although the bruise is gone, the area is still quite hard/lumpy and painful when any pressure is applied. When will it go away and should I see a doctor about it? I am training for a half marathon, so I run about 15 miles a week and it does bother me sometimes during or after runs.
