I had my tubes tied about 4 months ago after I had my daughter via c-section. My periods came on time just a little heavier then normal until this month it hasn't came yet I spotted some brownish discharge on and off for a couple days barley anything. I have cramping on and off. today I started having white thick discharge no odore. I still cramp a lot my breasts are a little tender.I am 1 week late for my period.
Hi, Thanks for the query. After delivery for few months irregularity in menstrual cycles can be seen. If you are breast feeding the baby, that can lead to some amount of hormonal fluctuation. Some women may have total amenorrhea during breast feeding months. As you undergone tubal ligation, the possibility of pregnancy is less. The symptoms you are having could be part of premenstrual syndrome. Possibly you may get periods soon. If you do not get periods even after one week, consult gynecologist once and get examined. After ruling out the possibility of pregnancy, you can take tablets for withdrawal bleeding with your doctor's advice. Take care.
