Bypass Surgery Suggested Due To Blocked Arteries. Undergoing Dialysis. Limb Amputated. Pins And Needles In The Wrist. Is This Related?

My mum was told that her 2main atreries are blocked n that she would have to undergo a bypass. She has her left limb amputated n post op is very difficult. She will also have to have dialyis immediately. She did not have the op. Its gone 6 weeks now but today her left wrist is twitching n had needles n pins. She took her tnt n the pain subsided. Is this related to her heart condition.

Dear patient,

Thanks for your health concerns. It could certainly be an atypical manifestation of ischemia from blocked arteries, but not necesarily from the heart, but the arteries of the limb itself. It could also be related to nerve damage from surgical procedure.
