Burning Sensation In Stomach With Nausea On Feeling Hungry, Lightheadedness And Hot Flashes Throughout The Day. What Could It Be?

Hi I m a 20 year old female. Lately I have been feeling a burning sensation in my stomach and nausea it happens mostly when I begin to get hungry or in the morning and when I eat certain foods. Throughout the day I feel nauseated and dizzy and lightheaded and I get hot flashes. I also sleep a lot sometimes not all the time. What could it be?

Hello. Welcome to hcm.
You might be suffering from gastritis. It is a condition where the acid secreted by stomach causes severe burning sensation. It might be due to simple oily foods taken or due to infection by H.pylori.
I advice you to stop taking oily or spicy foods. You should start taking tablets called proton pump inhibitors namely omeprazole and you need to be evaluated for infection or cause of gastritis and treated accordingly. Try to have minimal food every 2hrs so tat you wont be with empty stomach.
