Bump On Penis During Erection, Painful

I have a condition with my penis. When I have an erection, the bottom left side of the shaft has a bump. I can not bend my penis to the right because it hurts. It's usually always bent to the left. My penis has not had this problem until i noticed it last year. It has also curved a little to the left after this problem has occurred. I am 28 years old and Middle Eastern, just in case that helps out. I do not notice the bump when I don't have an erection. It's only when I am erected that it hurts. I am thinking it might be Peyronies, but I am not sure. Please let me know what it might be, Thank you.

Urologist 's  Response
Hi,
There is reasonably good chance that it is indeed Peyronie's disease and the only way to confirm this is by means of a good ultrasound scan of the soft tissues of the penis done by a sonologist who is experienced in these matters with a colour doppler scan if needed to look for penile vascularity.
The good news is that most patients with these bumps say that the pain disappears after a few weeks, though a curvature might remain at the time of erection, which if not bothering with your sexual intercourse, can be managed conservatively.
