Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother's health condition. From the description of her problems, it appears that she is having multiple medical complications. As you would be well aware, when the cancer has spread beyond a particular point, it cannot be cured. In such cases, the cancer usually spreads to other organs of the body (called metastasis) and can cause further complications. It is very difficult to guage her prognosis without a detailed knowledge of the type, severity and extent of her cancer.

Even if the cancer may not be curable, measures can be taken to ensure that she has as minimum suffering as possible. This is called palliative care. So, I would advise you to discuss about this with her doctor.

Wish you all the best.
