Both Tubes Blocked And Periods Late. HPT Test Negative. Any Chances Of Being Pregnant?

Hello,
I am 35 yo female with 4 children all conceived naturally. I had Essure implants put in in May 2012 and removed them because of adverse reaction November 2013. I had an HSG done January 2014 and was told both tubes are blocked with scar tissue. It is now February 17th and my period is 3 days late. I took a HPT first thing this morning and it was negative. What are the chances that I am in fact pregnant? I do not have a fever, pain, cramps, spotting or any other signs of an ectopic. Thoughts?

Hi, since the tubes are blocked and UPT is negative, no need to worry for pregnancy, even ectopic. You need to wait for another week for your periods to occur. If no menses then get done USG abdomen and pelvis, UPT and pelvic examination once for diagnosing the cause. There may be variations in periods due to many causes like anxiety, illness, any infections, hormonal change etc. So no need to worry if delayed for 3 days.
