Red blood cells demonstrate mild anisopoikilocytosis
and mild-moderate polychromasia. This was one in a report received today from my husband recent bone marrow biospy..he's been diagnosed with multiple myloma. Can you put that in laymans terms. We don't see the doctor until next week. I know the platelets have gone up and they want him back on 2 drugs to get his blood work within normal rnage.

The term multiple mylema denotes in layman 'cancer of the plasma cells of blood'.The plasma cells are a type of white cells derived from precur cells.
EXCESSIVE proliferation of these plasma cells accmulate in the bonemarrow.
