Body Ache, Diarrhea. No Fever, Cold. Should I See General Physician Or Wait?

Hi. I had body aches for 2-1/2 days (couldn t get out of bed) and diarrhea for 5 days. I have no fever or head cold symptoms. I m wondering if I should see my general physician or just wait until the virus runs its course (I m assuming a stomach virus). I m just not sure if going to my physician will help -- I would rather not go out if I don t have to.

Hello,
Thanks for coming to HCM. You should take plenty of liquids and light meals with 7-8 hours of sleep/rest. You can take paracetamol if required. You should wait for 3-4 days for improvement. If you continue to get problems or condition worsens or new symptoms, contact your local doctor.
Wish you speedy recovery!
