Bluish Green Blood In Saliva, Breathlessness, Clearing Throat Daily. Lung Tests Normal. Causes For Symptoms?

Hi I have been bringing blood up for 6 months and recently grey blue in my saliva . My lung tests are clear but I struggle with exercise due to breathlessness. I do not get headaches but thinking it may be my nose and throat. I clear my throat daily

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Blood in saliva occur either due to throat infection or due to gingivitis as a result of plaque accumulation.

I would advice you to get a thorough scaling done.

Brush and floss your teeth as well as tongue daily.

Use c hl or hex i d i n e mouth rinses to gargle.

Also get THOROUGH evaluation by an E N T Specialist.
