Blood Test Done, Reddish Black Discoloration At Injection Site, Pre-diabetic. Treatment Options?
i had a blood test done on saturday morning.. by yesterday morning that place from where blood was pricked out had turned red black.. today morning it appears to have stighlty spread more .. any cause for concern - there is no pain etc .. atleast i do not feel so.. further i have been tested for early signs of diabetes .. age 42.
When the syringe punctures the tiny blood vessels you tend to get this kind of discolouration on skin called as bruise, so dont worry. Initially it would be dark in colour but later on its colour will fade out & disappear.
