Bleeding During Urination. Has Follicular Cyst In Ovaries. US Showed Bladder Spasms With Leaking Urine. . History Of Blood Discharge From Kidneys. Help

Hi my daughter is 14 years old and is bleeding when she urinates and we aren't sure if it's her period, bladder, or kidneys. She's hasn't been feeling well since last November with digestion issues and she's been saying my bladder hurts. We went to a gynecologist because she has follicular cysts on both her ovaries, the dr said it's fine everything is growing she should get her period with in the next 6 months that was 3 weeks ago. After that I took her to my urologist she did a ultrasound she has bladder spasms and is leaking urine. On Thursday she started getting bad pain on her right side going towards her back last night she started peeing blood. I told her to put a pad on but there isn't a lot of blood on the pad only like a drop it's mainly when she urinates, I'm suppose to take her for a urinalysis tmrw at her pediatricians office. She does have blood in her urine a few years back we went to a kidney specialist and he did a test and found out the blood is coming from high up in her kidneys. She said when she urinates it hurts in her bladder and in her back. Please help !

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your concern, but it is difficult to say from the history given here that your daughter is having really blood in her urine, there must be some associated symptoms if it is blood in urine, at the most it could be very small bladder stone, this is the only possibility can be considered and for that plan X ray of kidney ureter and bladder is needed this will clear the picture meanwhile you can try urine alkalizer ( Sodium citrate ) would be the choice, it is oral formula just give her 10ml thrice a day, have nice day.
