Black Molar Tooth, Taking Diet As Coke And Pizza. Medicine?

Hello. I am 15 years old. I have 2 molar teeth that are black. (The inside is black) I was wondering is this a bad sign? Will I lose the teeth if not examined by a Dentist? I am nervous because my diet is usually coke and pizza. If this is a bad sign then what way s can I help prevent it? Like which tooth paste shall I use or tooth brush... Thanks. Christopher.

hello and welcome to HCM forum Christopher,
according to the history presented by you, molars are getting black from inside right? you have not mentioned about sensitivity to hot or cold or even pain, i assume you do not face any of this.
Now,reason for a tooth getting black is either due to stains or due to caries, to prevent progression of caries, kindly visit your dentist and get your teeth restored, but if stains is the problem then get oral prophylaxis(scaling) done for your teeth .
besides this, you should use a soft bristles tooth brush with an anti-cavity tooth paste twice daily.
maintain your oral hygiene to have a healthy mouth.
i wish you good health.

Hi Christopher,

as you mention a blackness in you molar, you need filllings.
pain is not mentioned in your history means the filling is not deep and involving only enemal. so i suggest to go to the dentist and get it filled as soon as possible other wise it may give you pain.

Thanks,

Dr. Vishal Jain
