Biting Feeling In Back And Shoulder Area. Itchy Shoulder

ive had this very odd, random biting feeling in the same place on my back/ shoulder area. it been happening more and more often this past week and today it s very frequent. feels like someone is stabbing a needle and i feel like I need to scratch the area but theres nothing there. I do have an achy shoulder at the minute too.

Hi,
If there is no history of trauma, it may be a prodrome of Herpes zoster.
Herpes zoster almost always maintains unilaterality. Within next few days skin eruptions may come up.
The best thing you can do at this moment is to start oral analgesics and consult a dermatologist.
