Back Injury, X-ray Showed Presence Of Spino Bifida Segment. Meaning And Treatment?

Sir, This is bappaditya bhattacharyya from west bengal, india, few days ago i faced an motor cycle accident, it injured my back, after that i make an x-ray of my back, the report says that spino biofida s1 segment is present i just want to know what is the meaning of this term and what is the treatment, is it some major problem? pls help me out.

Thankd for your query.
You had a injury to back for which you took X ray of the spine and found Sina Bifida of S1 vertebra.Spina bifida is a developmental anomaly of the spinous Process of the vertebra.Many a times it is detected as a accidental finding on X-Ray and does not carry any significance.So do not worry .There is no treatment needed for it.
