Baby Suffering From Severe Cough, Cold. Advised Nebulization. Opinion?

Hi, My son who is 8 months old is suffering from severe cough and cold from last 5 days, we are giving proper medication as prescribed by the doctor, but there is very little improvement. Now the docor has asked us to nebulise him, We are little woried about whether we should start this procedure as we have heard that nebulization is an addictive procedure. Please suggest what should I do, thanks

Hi
I appreciate your concern about your son.
i will advise you to give treatment as advised by your doctor,
regarding your concern about using nebuliser i would like to clarify that nebulization is not at all addictive,it is only a mode of drug delivery in which medicine goes directly to lungs through inhalation and by this we have to give less amount of medicine which directly reaches target organ without any delay.
Your daughter will be fine soon.
God bless.
