Baby Developed Constipation, Crying Excessively. Guidance?

Hello Sir, My 2.5 months old baby boy has suddenly developed constipation like symptoms. Earlier on he used to pass stool nearly 10 times a day. Now for the past 2 times he goes on for 8-9 days without any. He also at times cries excessively. One doc suggested giving him neopeptine/aristozyme drops while another doc said that it should be stopped immediately as it aggravates constipation. Can you please guide us? Thanks, Puneet
