As I Have Disc Prolapsed Can I Have A Normal Delivery ?

hi i have disc prolapsed L4-L5 and im pregnant is it possible to have normal vaginal delivery?will it be painful?or will it be harmful?does it need to be cesarian section?thank u very much

Disc prolapse with pregnancy will cause an increase in backache both during the pregnancy and after delivery. It should not create any problem in normal delivery. But if the ceasarean section is needed, anaesthetist might prefer a general anaesthesia rather than a spinal block.
