Hi. I have arthritis in both knees ,right knee is worse than left. I,ve been told that I would probbley have to have a knee replacement on the right knee do to cardlige .i also have a lot of inflammation once my eyes turned really red and stayed that way for about a month,my eye Doc.said they usually see that in patients that are really bad arthritic or someone that has lupus.in the past five years I,ve had a lot of joint ,feet and ankle pain so I got checked for lupus and one doc said it was and the other said I didn't, but I notice about three years ago I started to get theses blister like spot on my legs and that's the only place they appear especially when my legs swell and that's most of the time . Hello and welcome to HCM,
Lupus erythematosus is a multi-system disorder.
It involves a large number of tissues like skin of face, joints, serosal surfaces, blood cells, CNS, kidneys, etc.
The diagnosis of lupus erythematosus requires presence of a large number of symptoms along with positive serum tests.
The most specific test for lupus erythematosus is anti ds DNA.
Lupus erythematosus is diagnosed only when this antibody is positive along with other symptoms.

Consult your doctor for this investigation.
If positive, lupus erythematosus is confirmed.
Steroids are the mainstay of treatment for this condition.

Thanks and take care
