Are Twitching And Pain In Vein Of Foot Sign Of Diabetes?
I feel like my vein in my foot is about to burst.. It starts twitching and is extremely painful.. It stops on it's own and then starts up again in spurts.. It just started today, but some people in my office mentioned Diabetes? Is this a symptom? What can cause this?
Dear sir i can understand your concern. In my opinion you might be suffering from varicose veins in which veins of legs appear twisted and give dull pains. usually in diabetes the pain will be burning in nature and associated with excess urination, excessive hunger, weight loss, increased infections and non healing wounds. i suggest you to meet a surgeon for the complaints of twisted veins. nothing to worry varicose veins are treatable condition. you will be better in no time. Hope I was able to help you. If you have any further question feel free to write me back. I will be happy to help. Take care. Best Regards. Dr Vamsi Krishna Consultant Diabetologist Apollo Hospitals
