Are There Any Refractive Surgeries To Improve Vision?

My daughter is 5 months old. She was diagnosed with monocular esotropia, degenerative high myopia, as well as blocked tear ducts. She was given a prescription for glasses of -17 in both eyes. Are there any refractive surgeries or surgeries period to improve her vision at all, being so young? I was told we could potentially do surgery at 10 months, but I m not sure if that was for vision or the eye turn? We have another appointment in 3 weeks with the ophthalmologist again. We were told it was not a neurological issue and her retinas ARE attached. I have also been told by family and friends to have her checked for diabetes... Could diabetes have THIS MUCH effect on her vision?

she is mainly having congenital problem. for esotropia nothing can be done now. now there is no scope of giving a corection of-17 so wait for at least of her one year age. . complete review after one year and at that time what ever is advisable and possible should be done
