Then my new PSA 16 Months later jumped to 5.0, shouls I have another biopsy done? I have all the signs urinating at night a few times, no sperm production etc.

Hello dear,

Thank you for your contact to health care magic.

I read and understand your concern.

I am Dr Arun Tank answering your concern.

PSA or prostate specific antigen is the marker for the carcinoma or malignancy.

Its rising rapidly, this is the indication for the carcinoma of the prostate.

Yes, in my opinion you should go for the second biopsy. Because biopsy is the only method which can confirm the cancer and its type.

Method for the treatment can only be known thereafter.

Till that time you can continue with the medication you are currently taking.

I will be happy to answer your further concern on bit.ly/DrArun.

Thank you,
Dr Arun Tank
