Are Tenderness Of Nipples And Body Heat Symptoms Pregnancy?

im ayesha aged 27 5ft and 58kg.. i underwent laprascopy for pco on aug 13th and was asked to take siphene and duphaston.. have taken them for a month and supposed to get my periods on 26th.. im late by 2 days today..just feel tenderness at nipples..and felt my body very hot last night.. can this be conception.. please reply

Hi Ms. Ayesha,
As per the clinical history and your current symptoms, it is likely that you could be pregnant. You can wait for another couple of days and get a HPT with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Else, you can get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres now for an earlier and definite conclusion as this is very sensitive and specific. A trans-vaginal sonogram may be done after a week to clarify the situation and would be an additional help. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
