Are Swollen Bites On Upperarm And Wrist A Cause For Concern?
I have a few swolen bites on my upperarm, wrist and on the top of my hand the redness seems so haf spreaded around one of the bites in splotches since I first noticed it is this anything to be worried about or could you tell me what I may have been bitten by?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you have been bitten by some bug/bee/insect leading to localized allergic reactions around the bug bites leading to swelling and welts.. The toxic chemical injected by the sting of the organism that bite you has caused an allergic reaction.. I would suggest you to take anti allergics like Benadryl or Levocetrizine.. You can apply steroidointments to reduce inflammation, swelling and itching.. You can do cool compresses over the swelling.. Apply Calamine lotion to soothe the skin.. In case if there is no improvement in a week consult an Allergist and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
