Are Stomach Cramps And Leg Pains During Pregnancy Normal?

I am 7 weeks and five days pregantand I am a little worried I have had cramps / pain down my left leg with cramp on both sides of my belly is this normal and ok or should I be worried. The pain is not unbarable but a bit different to normal feelings.

Yes it is absolutely normal. Your body is adjusting and stretching to accommodate your baby.
Pregnancy hormones enable this process by loosening muscles.

I recommend :
- avoid standing on your feet too long.
- wear supportive shoes
- as you progress in pregnancy, use pillows between your legs, back and under your tummy do prevent strain on the muscles as you sleep or lie down.
-gentle walking and pregnancy yoga can help relieve symptoms. A swim will help too. Avoid sitting in hot water tubs as it gets too hot and is not safe for you now

If the pain becomes too bothersome, consult your OBGYN to see if any nerve is being impinged.
