are shingles contagious- my husband has a lot of oozing sores on his leg- I have had them once a long time ago- I have crhones disease and ibm associated with als- just wondering if I will get them again--- and in my husbands case can they be dangerous for him---thank you-
HI, SHINGLES IS NOT DANGEROUS; BUT IT CAN SPREAD TO OTHER PERSON BY CONTACT WITH THE LESIONS. Only be careful while dealing with the rash, as there are rare occasions when even shingles has turned out into chicken pox in the contacts. It (shingles) wont spread in any other way. so do not be worried, wear a glove while serving your husbands skin lesions. That is sufficient.
