Are Pus Cells 2-3/hpf And Epithelial Cells 20-25/hpf Normal?
hi, i am 30 yrs old woman. recently i went for normal health check up and thyroid test. my doc gave urine test and the result shows: pus cell as 2-3/hpf and epithelial cell as 20-25/hpf. is this normal? i do have some burning and itching sensation in my vagina...pls suggest

you have 2 to3 pus cells in urine. It is normal finding. You have large number of epithelial cells in urine. It suggest contamination of urine with vaginal fluid. Soyou ddon't have urinary tract infection. You should not worry about that. No any treatment is needed.
