Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Your husband has an abnormal rhythm called tachycardia. This can be due to several causes.
He needs to have an EKG to know what is the type of abnormality.
Since he has a coronary artery disease which required a bypass, the fast heart rate puts additional burden on the heart. It is better to determine the cause of the tachycardia and correct the same as soon as possible.
So it is better to go the ER

Do get back to me if you have further queries.
