Are Omeprazole And Advil Reactive When Taken Together?
Just diagnosed with acid reflux. Went to the hospital b/c I thought it might be a heart attack. Does omeprazole (20 mg) interact with advil. I am 64 yrs. old. Had pain - took advil and within an hour heartburn. Could I be allergic to it. Have not taken the omeprazole yet.

Any pain reliever, it is better to take with antacid or Omeprazole type of medicine or with full stomach.
Alone pain reliever can cause hyper acidity or gastritis causing burning in stomach.
There is no interaction of advil with omeprazole.
