Are Muscle And Joint Aches Related To Menopause?

Hi. I am a 55 year old female, I have just started into menopause. I have been experiencing muscle and joint aches at the end of the day. Very little is written or discussed about symptoms relating to menopause. Could these be related? Also, my sciatica acts up monthly just before my normal period, Thoughts?
