Are Multiple Intramural Fibroids In The Uterus A Cause For Concern?
My ultrasound results: the uterus is anteverteed and heterogeneous in echotexture measuring approximately 6.3 x 4.5 x 5.3 cm. the enometrial thickness is 5.6 mm. muliple intramural fibroids noted, the largest measuring 3.3 x 3.2. There is a hypoechoic mass measuring 4.0 x 3.7 on the lower uterine segment. Can you please break down in layman s term for a non medical client?
Hi, I think you are having multiple tumours in uterus which are not cancerous but can cause heavy bleeding during periods. So, if you are having any menstrual abnormality, you may need some medical treatment or may be surgery. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
