Are Mood Swings And Delayed Period Signs Of Pregnancy?

I have had 3 negative pregnancy tests in the last week and a half but I am 7 days late for my period and last month was extremely light. I was more like spotting than anything. Now I am constantly exausted, moody, anxious, irritable and have gotten a headache almost daily for the past week, and I almost never have headaches. I even have a strange pain in my abdomen below my bellybutton. Its not like a cramp but more like that pulling feeling in you muscles when you stretch before a work out.

Do you think it sounds like I could be pregnant? could I even be 2 months pregnant since last month was so light?

I have gone through the query and understood your concern. Home pregnancy tests read well 3-7 days after the missed period and when performed with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Your symptoms are not specific for pregnancy alone and can also mean an impending period or some hormone imbalance. The latter also explains the lighter period that you had in the last cycle. I would suggest a blood test for pregnancy and a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the situation and help plan further management. Hope this helps.
