Are Mitral Valve Condition And Aortic Valve Replacement Surgery Related?

My husband is applying for disability with the VA. He was denied because they said there was no relationship between the Mitral valve condition they found in the navy and the aortic valve replacement surgery he had in later years. Is there a relationship between the two conditions

Hi I read your query.
There's some evidence of relation between mitral valve problems during teenage and aortic valve intervention.

However this depend on the type of the problems he has had in the past.

Can you send more information about what kind of problem he has had in the marine and what kind of intervention he has done recently

Hope it was of help!
