Severe Eccentric Jet Mitral Regurgitation Through The Tear Mild Valvular Mitral Regurgitation. Meaning?
I am taking Acitrom 3 mg from 2004 Sep onward. and undergone Aortic valve replacement (Sep 2004) I am 8 week pregnent any problm with this? My medical History are given below: Aortic valve replacement (Sep 2004) Taking Acitrom 3 mg Mildly dilated LA(LA in 4C-55*56mm). Normal LV and RV function Mitral E/A- 1.2/ 0.66m/sec. Dect- 225msec. Mitral valve - tear at the base of AML . Severe eccentric jet mitral regurgitation through the tear mild valvular mitral regurgitation. Prosthetic valve insitu in aortic position. Normally functioning aortic prosthesis. Prosthetic Aortic Valve Peak/mean gradient- 49/29mm Hg. Trival valvular / paravalvular leak. Mild tricuspid regurgitation. TR gradient - 45 mm Hg. Moderate pulmonary artery hypertension. Intact IAS/ IVS No pericardial effusion/ clot or vegetation. Left aortic arch. No coarctation

Hello and welcome
your echocardiography report suggest severe accentric mitral regurgitation. Which may increase in future and may need for correction. mitral regurgitation means normally blood should go from left atrium to left ventricle through mitral valve there is a tear mitral valve so some amount of blood again comes back from left ventricle to left atrium.
At present you should continue with treatment and regular monitoring of PT and INR.
