Are Home Fecal Matter Blood Test And Colonoscopy Both Required Simultaneously?

I just had a through annual wellness exam by a new primary care doctor. They are requiring a colonoscpy and also gave me an at home fecal matter blood test. Due to my age of 55 and have not ever had this type of testing I am preparing to schedule a colonscopy asap. Do I need both test?

Good Evening,
Thanks for given information, for annual wellness I think fecal Matter blood test with colonoscopy necessary to prove your wellness.don't worry this is good for your health, here's I explain you why they want to do this process
When doctors test for fecal occult blood they are testing for the presence of microscopic or invisible blood in the stool, or feces
Thanks,
For consult
Regards,
Dr,Naeem
