Are High Frequency Waves Used To Treat Gall Bladder Stones Harmful For Pregnancy?
I have a question regarding the high frequency waves used in the treatment of gall bladder stones. If it has any side effect especially for a woman trying to get pregnant? What are the complications of having surgery and how long it takes to recuperate?

Hi Thanks for asking. I understand your concern. The effect of electromagnetic high frequency waves on prwgnancy &conception depends on strength&type of exposure... so the treating doctor would be best judge to give exact effect. Still humanfertilisation, conceotion &fetal develoment depend on endocrinal&hormonal system. Ovulationis said tobe at risk with such treatment. So conception itself gets tuff.Fetal develioment is also at risk when exposed to the waves during pregnancy. Though no human data is available in this concern.. animal data gives clear signal to hamper fertility (as described above). So if you ae intereßted in child bearing you should avoid high frequency wave treatment. Surgical treament at expert hands is better... with no conplications &fast recovery.conceptioncan be planned within 3-6 months of surgery. Thanls.
