Are Delayed Periods A Sign Of Pregnancy?

Hi doctor, I had sex with my gf using condom and as far as i remember there was no breakage in any of them. But my gf got her periods delayed by 5 days today. What can be the posibility of pregnancy and are there are any drugs to stop pregnancy at this stage?

if it was safe sex the chance of bregnancy is less
she need to do urine for HCG to exclude pregnancy.
